Lonje Kathi ?
Lonje Kathi is a lesser known bamboo craft, originated in the village of Lonje near Gautala Wildlife Sanctuary, Sambhaji Nagar & Jalgaon.
The word Kathi means stick. This traditional craft involves carving of intricate designs on bamboo sticks.
Over generations, artisans have perfected more than 21 unique design patterns and indigenous colouring techniques, preserving a rich piece of cultural heritage.
